Service for parents/carers of adolescents or young people

Who is this service for

The Parents’ and Carers’ Consultation Service offers free and confidential consultations to single parents and parental couples who are experiencing conflict or other emotional difficulties in their relationship with young people in the 14 - 25 age group in their care.

If you are a parent experiencing difficulties with a teenager or young adult and would like to talk it over in a confidential consultation, please call us.

Kinds of treatment offered

We can offer up to six meetings of about an hour each, aimed at helping parents develop a new perspective on the difficult situations with which they are faced. The consultation may also include some discussion of the ordinary processes of adolescent development.

For more information or to arrange an appointment call our administrator on 020 8938 2337 between 10am and 5.30pm, Monday - Thursday. This service accepts both self-referrals and written professional referrals.
