Board of Governors By-Elections

In this section:

Results of the By-Election

The Trust recently held a by-election to fill two vacant Governor seats in the Rest of England and Wales class of the Public Constituency. Voting took place by postal ballot and the poll for this election closed on 21 September 2011.

The two successful candidates that have now been elected as Governors are:

  • Ms Jo Blanchard
  • Ms Lou James

Their term of office will begin immediately, and they will hold the seats until the end of the current term of office on 31 October 2012.

Lou James previously served as a Governor here at the Trust for Camden. She now lives on the Hampshire / Surrey border. Lou was previously very active on our Communications Committee and on Appointments committees. Lou studied at the Trust as a systemic psychotherapist working with children and families. We are very happy to welcome her back and look forward to working with her again.

Jo works as a social worker in Suffolk County Council, and lives in Norfolk. We welcome Jo to our Board of Governors, and look forward to working with her.
