Who this service is for

We offer services for young people aged 14–25. Our patients attend with a range of issues, including:

  • depression and self-harm
  • stress and anxiety at school
  • phobias
  • obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • bullying
  • dislike of their appearance and eating disorders
  • problems with friends, family and other relationships
  • drug and alcohol issues
  • traumatic events
  • difficulties leaving home and coping with work, college or university
  • problems following difficult early life experiences
  • difficulties relating to disabilities.

The service is exclusively committed to understanding the issues and problems of young people living in today’s world. We try to develop help and support that is appropriate for those that are no longer children, yet not fully in the world of adults, understanding that this can be a difficult place to be.

Kinds of treatment offered

Our approach is always tailored to individual needs. After an initial consultation the patient and therapist determine a suitable course of treatment.
