LCDS stands for the Learning and Complex Disabilities Service

We work with people who have learning disabilities or learning difficulties

LCDS is based in Swiss Cottage, which is in North London

We see people who have emotional problems

We help people who might feel:

Sad

Angry

Upset

Worried

Scared

Who we work with:

LCDS works with people who have learning disabilities or complex disabilities (like Asperger's syndrome or autism)

We work with males and females

We work with children and adults

We work with people all over the country

Sometimes we work with people on their own

Sometimes we work with families

We also work with staff who help people with learning disabilities

What to Expect from LCDS:

First we would phone you or write to you offering an appointment

This appointment will be for you to come and talk about things you are finding difficult

You can attend this appointment on your own

OR

You can attend with someone who cares for you

We are in a building called the Tavistock Centre

It is at 120 Belsize Lane, in Swiss Cottage

The nearest tube station is Swiss Cottage

Bus numbers C11 and 46 also stop near us

There is somebody by the front door to tell you where to go

You can wait in the reception area

There are lifts in the building if you need them
