Our constitution

Each NHS Foundation Trust has its own Constitution. This is a document that sets out the purpose and powers, and governance arrangements of each NHS Foundation Trust.

Our Constitution includes information on who can be a Member and how you join, how many Governors we can have, how they are elected, how many Directors we can have, how they are appointed, as well as other rules about preparing Annual Reports and having Auditors.

If you would like to view our Constitution, click here.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of the Constitution, you can contact the Trust Secretary by e-mailing, trustsecretary@tavi-port.nhs.uk or calling 020 8938 2493, or by writing to Trust Secretary, Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, 120 Belsize Lane, London, NW3 5BA

NHS Constitution

As well as having our own Constitution, which sets out particular rules for our organisation, each NHS organisation is bound by the NHS Constitution. This document sets out the following the values and principles of the NHS, our commitment to patients and the public, and our commitment to our staff.
