Who are these services for?

We understand that the assessment of families where there may be child protection concerns is very stressful.

Our aim is to engage with families and gain their co-operation so that they can demonstrate their capacity to change.

We offer a variety of services related to child protection.

We see families with children of any age, where there are child protection concerns of a complex nature, either in care proceedings or pre-proceedings.

We offer treatment of children and families where there are serious problems which are affecting the family’s safety and stability.

We also offer specialist expert assessments of children and parents for public and private law proceedings.

Kinds of treatment offered

We can carry out complex expert assessment for courts in private or public proceedings tailored to individual children and families’ needs and the needs of the commissioners. We can also offer individual therapy for children and adults, or family therapy.

We also offer the UK’s first Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC). FDAC is an innovative approach to the problem of parental substance misuse and its impact on children in the family. It ensures that effective services are provided in a timely and co-ordinated way for parents while at the same time focusing clearly on the welfare of the child.

How to access these services

We offer a wide range of services, catering to many different needs. To ensure that you access the right service we pass all enquiries through a central coordinator, who will ask you a few questions in order to pass you on to the most appropriate service. To find out more please call our coordinator on 020 8938 2241.
