What is a Director?
Most organisations have a Board of Directors, which is responsible for the governance, strategy and overall running of that organisation. We have 12 members on our Board of Directors, who make sure that the Trust runs properly.
The Board of Directors works closely with our Board of Governors.
Who is on the Board of Directors?
Executive Directors are senior staff members, both clinical and non-clinical, for example the Finance Director, who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Trust.
Non-Executive Directors are independent people who offer a broad variety of skills as well as a commitment to our values, and work with the Executive Directors to set our strategy and ensure we perform well.
