Bid for Better at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust
After the success of its pilot last year the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust has just re-launched the Bid for Better membership engagement scheme.
Open to anyone who is a member of the Trust, Bid for Better will fund ideas which seek to improve the patient experience and promote mental wellbeing. Awards of up to £250 will be made available and all bids received by the deadline will be reviewed by a Panel including staff, governor and patient representatives.
How to become a member
If you are not a member, it is easy and free to join. Just email the Trust at trustsecretary@tavi-port.nhs.uk for an application form.
Last year
Last year three bids were awarded funding. These were a play table for the Child and Family waiting room, a questionnaire returns box for the entrance foyer of the Tavistock Centre and copies of the Mind booklet ‘Making sense of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis’ for the ground floor waiting room.
