The Human Resources Directorate provides a fully comprehensive HR service to the trust, covering a wide remit which includes training and development, corporate governance and organisational development. The department’s model of HR service is one that is flexible, sustainable and responsive to the changing needs of the organisation and environment.
The work of the HR Department covers three key areas:
Organisational Development and Corporate Governance
We work with the Board of Directors, Board of Governors and professional staff to review and improve organisational efficiency, from structures to performance appraisals, senior appointments, pay and remuneration, change management, supporting tenders and work integration.
Core Human Resource Services
We provide a range of services including recruitment and employee relations, workforce planning, change management, service and workforce reconfiguration, pay and absence management, the development of employment policies and procedures, and the promotion of equality and diversity including provision of staff benefits.
Training and Development
We provide a wide range of internal and external training courses within an overall assessment of development needs of our staff. We also provide advice and guidance to individuals and teams in relation to meeting their learning and career development needs. The HR team is made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds with varied strengths and skills and is led by a qualified professional senior management team.
